Allergies

An allergy is a response of an immune system to a foreign substance (allergens) that are not considered harmful to your body. Which include pollen, pet dander or certain foods.

Our immune system keeps us healthy by fighting harmful pathogens. It attacks at anything; it thinks could put your body in danger. Depending on the allergen, this response may involve sneezing, inflammation, or a host of other symptoms.

Your immune system normally adjusts according to your environment. Like pet dander, it looks it’s harmless. In the people with dander allergies, the immune system observes it as an outside trespasser which threatening the body and attacks it. Allergies are common. Several treatments can help you avoid your symptoms.

Symptoms of allergies

You may experience allergic symptoms result of several factors. Means the type of allergy you have and how severe it is.

Before an anticipated allergic response if you take any medication, you may still experience some of these symptoms, but it can be reduced.

For food allergies

Food allergies can cause swelling, fatigue, hives, rashes, nausea, reactions and more. It may take time for a person to know that they have a food allergy. You should immediately visit your doctor if you found a serious reaction after a meal. Doctor can find the exact cause if you don’t know the cause of reaction or refer you to a specialist because everyone’s symptoms and signs of an allergic reaction are different.


For seasonal allergies

Fever symptoms are similar to those of a cold. Such as runny nose, congestion and swollen eyes. you can manage these symptoms at home but in serious cases, you visit your doctor.

For severe allergies

Severe allergies like anaphylaxis is a life-threatening emergency in which you may face lightheadedness, breathing difficulties and loss of consciousness. In this case, you should visit to doctor immediately.
